It was a lovely hot day with a great turn out, never seen so many women of all ages so interested in a game of football, all flocking to see the recently added moon brothers from Eastenders also Lucian from waterloo road, Danny miller from Emmerdale and Anthony Quinlan /Gilly from Hollyoaks, Elliot and Luke Tittensor from shameless/ Emmerdale with the many more who came to play in the team.

There were some very happy young girls and older ladies making their way home with a smile on their face that evening.

The day raised £2000 on the gate
 
 

Eastbourne Masons Verity lodge raised £600 through Ladies lunch and raffling a Tuesday O'Hara Fund specially made Me to You Bear complete with odd sock as a tribute to Tuesday.The Masons central funding in Brighton Matched the fund raising efforts so Phil Walter presented Sue with a cheque £1200

Postwoman Mary Flynn raised over £500
by having her hair shaved off for the Tuesday O’Hara Fund / Pevensey Project Mary had
been sponsored by friends and work colleagues
at Eastbourne Sorting Office.
 
 

Local based charity Tuesday O’Hara Fund are searching for thrill seekers who wish to go head over heals down a run in the heart of the breathtaking South Downs.

Have you got the balls to be pushed down Brighton’s Devils Dyke and hit speeds of up to 30mph? Aqua-orb for the adventurous type who would be willing to do be surrounded by 40 litres of water, whilst you tumble down hill?

The Causeway School pupils raised money for Tuesday O’Hara Fund by wearing odd socks, The Tuesday O’Hara Fund raises money for young adults with Cancer / leukaemia.
Tuesday died in January aged 21 after a four year battle with leukaemia Tuesday will be remembered by many things one of which was to wear odd socks.
Causeway pupils raised £286 head teacher Mrs Alison Dearden said that the pupils really enjoyed the odd sock day it is now something that they are looking into doing for the Tuesday O’Hara Fund on a yearly bases.
